Sigal Chattah’s YouTube Videos Stand Out — And Not in a Good Way

By SA Barket

If you search for Sigal Chattah on YouTube, she pops up in a ton of YouTube videos.

Some of them are quite interesting, such as the first one that comes up when you search for her name — an interview with Las Vegas TV station, News Channel 8 when she was the Republican candidate for Nevada State Attorney General in 2022 (above): Attorney General candidate Sigal Chattah talks text messages, criminal law.

She gets all twisted around when interviewer Brian Loftus asks her to explain her comment that had become public in which she said her Democratic opponent, Aaron Ford, “… should be hanging from a f—ing crane.” (See my post on.that here: Aaron Ford: hanging from a f—ing crane.)

She tries to explain her way out of it, by saying she was comparing him to a leader of Hamas (sorry, but you already lost me there) because he was a corrupt AG.

Loftus asks her about her use of the word “Trannies” in a tweet and notes that the transgender community considers that a slur. Chattah responds:

“Would you consider Granny less offensive than Grandmother? The word Tranny is used in Hollywood, it’s part of the American culture. This isn’t a word that is taboo. It’s still being used. If the use of that word is offensive to a group, absolutely, I would apologize to that group. But at the same time, I think that in the grand scheme of things, the change needs to come from on a much bigger scale. So let’s ban Hollywood from using the word Tranny, let’s ban American literature from using the word Tranny. Just like any other word that has come in and out of circulation — we don’t call Native Americans Indians, and I don’t think you see that word being used anymore because it’s so offensive. But yet the word Tranny is still used a lot.”

Ok, Sigal. Only from the mind of Chattah.

A quick internet search of the word, “Tranny” shows that it is considered an offensive term. Dictionary.com defines it this way:

a contemptuous term used to refer to a transgender person, especially a transgender woman, or a crossdresser.”

Just sayin’ … or maybe we shouldn’t.
