Interesting cast of characters: Sigal Chattah (bottom left) with Vickie Dehart (top left) and Tony D’Anna (top right) gathered at the same table at T-Bones Chophouse on the evening of Nov. 8, 2022 for a Republican Watch Party to watch the day’s election returns.

On the evening of November 8, 2022, at an election night watch party at T-Bones Chophouse at Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa that Anthony “Nino” D’Anna, Vickie Dehart, and Sigal Chattah all attended. In previous statements, D’Anna was boasting that if Chattah got elected as Nevada’s new Attorney General, that D’Anna would have the “juice” to get things done with her in that position of power.

Sigal Chattah was on the ballot as the Republican candidate running against then-incumbent and now current Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford. Also on the ballot that year was then-LVMPD Sheriff Joe Lombardo as the Republican candidate running against incumbent Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak. Lombardo won his election; Chattah lost.

Apparently, even though Chattah lost that election to Ford, that “juice” boast still seemed to play out.

Consider, for example, that D’Anna and a man named Shafik Hirji — who claims to own, or is in charge of, a chain of automotive shops in the Las Vegas area called Purrfect Auto Service (PAS) and a sister auto company named USA Auto Service, as well as a furniture store in the Boulevard Mall called Furniture Fashions — have a business relationship as well as a friendship. (Hirji lives in a home owned by his son, Rahim Hirji, in the same 24/7 guard-monitored, gated community as I do.) According to Zillow, the house has an estimated market value of more than $3 million.

Previously, Hirji had been charged by the State of Nevada for the following (quoting directly from language in the findings in the September 2011 case, which can be read in full here – NV Case No. A531745):

  • “The scheme perpetuated at all of the PAS locations controlled by Hirji consists of selling unnecessary repairs and charging for parts that were never installed.” and “… in most if not all cases, customers pay for what are commonly called ‘phantom services’ where, although paid for by the customer, services are not done and parts are not replaced.”

To prove this, the State of Nevada set up undercover stings.

  • The State, represented by current Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, who at the time was AG for Nevada, certified the findings of fact; PAS was fined some $300,000 in 2011, without being adjusted for interest over the years, and Hirji was “permanently enjoined against continuing to engage or participate in the automotive repair business in the State of Nevada …”
    • Additionally, Hirji reneged on a payment plan he agreed to with the Las Vegas Review Journal for neglecting to pay his bill with them for advertising charges in the amount of $435,292.33.

D’Anna told me that Chattah said that she had a way of getting his buddy Hirji’s $218,000 judgment, plus $75,000 in attorney’s fees, quashed so it wouldn’t get renewed; allegedly, low and behold, that’s exactly what happened. (See 2017 Renewal of Judgment here: Affidavit for Renewal of Judgment). That judgment was never renewed, Hirji never paid anything, and now Shafik is neck deep back in his auto businesses. At the time of this post, we have not been able to find any proof that this judgment was paid.

Also, Hirji was convicted in federal court for bankruptcy fraud. (See document here: Hirji bankruptcy fraud case.) He also is a convicted felon.

Just laying out the facts and the connections for as many people as possible to see, beyond just me.
