BETTER CALL SIGAL

I ran across some very interesting and important news this weekend related to Piero’s Italian Cuisine. The popular restaurant owner’s son, Evan Glusman was arrested Saturday, April 26, 2025 and held without bail.

  1. The charges are (see Register of Actions image above):
One felony count categorized as “Make threat or false info re act of terrorism or WMD” (my emphasis)
  2. One misdemeanor count for Harassment, first offense

Piero’s Italian restaurant, a popular spot not only for celebs and may prominent Las Vegas muckety-mucks but also for Anthony aka “Nino,” aka “Tony” D’Anna, his current girlfriend Vickie Dehart, and lots of top politicos like interim US Attorney for the District of Nevada Sigal Chattah and many other movers and shakers.

From Piero’s “About” page on their website (https://www.pieroscuisine.com/about):

“The restaurant boasts a distinguished roster of regulars, from political figures like George W. Bush and Bill Clinton to entertainers such as Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, and Justin Timberlake. Local celebrities, including members of the Las Vegas Golden Knights and Raiders, along with personalities like Mike Tyson and Dana White, are often spotted here.”

Yes, it’s that kind of place. But here’s the thing: Anyone who goes to Piero’s in Tony’s company either knows or has been introduced to Evan Glusman by Tony. And the cast of characters in Tony’s circle who frequent the restaurant include Vickie Dehart, Sigal Chattah (who one witness said introduced Vickie to Tony at the restaurant) the late Judge Melanie Tobiasson, and other high-level political and judicial movers and shakers. In fact, I was there one night — when Tony and I had a much better relationship — and he personally introduced me to Evan Glusman.

I’ve learned from sources that Evan and his father, Freddie Glusman, were seen at Queensridge, where Freddie lives, on the day of Evan’s arrest. My sources saw an extreme amount of law enforcement agents and agencies at Queensridge. It was enough of a gathering, apparently, that you couldn’t miss it.

Speculation is that there is something going on between father and son related to the ownership of Piero’s. I can’t say what that issue or issues might be, but I find it very interesting that someone registered Piero’s Las Vegas LLC with the Nevada Secretary of State on 04-24-2025, just two days before Evan was arrested on Saturday, 04-26-2025. The LLC is listed on the state’s SilverFlume portal of business registrations and is currently active. As you can see from the accompanying document, the entity type is listed as “Reserved.” The entity status is listed as “Reserved.” The formation date is 04/24/2025. There is no registered agent information listed, which is unusual. No registered agents or officers, no name of individual or legal entity, no business ID, no address. Very strange.

Freddie Glusman, Evan’s father, is getting up there in years. Who knows what goes on behind closed doors when it comes to family — especially when family members are in business together?

You’ll note in the attached Register of Actions court document shown above, that probable cause was found in the arrest; that there was a release order granted by the judge after bail was posted, and that the release order also stipulated that Evan Glusman wear an ankle monitoring device. Additionally, Evan was ordered by the court (presiding Judicial Officer: Amy Ferreira) to “stay away from” Peiro’s (at least 1,000+ yards from the restaurant’s address), and that Evan was ordered to “not have weapons in possession.”

This case is just beginning to proceed through the Nevada state courts, and I’ll be looking to update this with more information, possibly as soon as Monday. So stay tuned. In the meantime, my advice would be:

BETTER CALL SIGAL: The Photo Album

Sigal Chattah, Michele Fiore, and Vickie Dehart have had quite the time together in their relationship over the years. Please scroll through this brief photo album of images culled from public social media posts to check out their adventures:

One more photo to share, and I find this one to be quite poignant. It’s a photo from the dedication of the installation of the statue of slain police officer Alyn Beck, photographed at the front of Officer Alyn Beck Memorial Park. The statue and the park are dedicated to the memory of fallen Officer Beck. Michele Fiore was charged with, tried for, and found guilty of multiple counts of wire fraud related to the funds she helped raise to go towards the memorial statue, which she then — according to the guilty verdict in her case — was convicted of. Just days after the jury rendered the guilty verdict convicting Michele Fiore on all counts, President Trump pardoned her.
