Sigal Chattah still listed as Nevada GOP National Chairwoman – Screenshot taken @ 2:42 PM, Wednesday, April 17, 2025, fully one week after she had told a radio host she had stepped away from that role.

Sigal Chattah, as previously noted, has been the National Chairwoman for the Nevada GOP. It’s a political position that, according to our understanding of the Hatch Act, she should not have, because it conflicts with her current appointment as the interim US Attorney for the District of Nevada, which is supposed to be a federal non-partisan, neutral role.
As previously reported (Sigal Chattah’s Motivation) Sigal Chattah has remained as Nevada’s Republican National Committeewoman after being sworn in as the US Attorney for the District of Nevada, in possible violation of the Hatch Act.
However, Chattah appeared on conservative radio talk show host Kevin Wall’s broadcast on April 10 (KMZQ 670AM, Kevin Wall Radio 4/10/2025)— 7 days ago — and said that she basically “walked away” from her “whole former life” to accept the interim appointment as US Attorney for the District of Nevada. She said that included her private law practice and her role as National Chairwoman for the Nevada GOP.
Well, Sigal, how do you explain the fact that you still are listed among the Nevada GOP leadership on the website (https://nevadagop.org/leadership/)? How do we know that you have “walked away” from the leadership role you have in the Nevada GOP?
The screenshot you see above was taken at 2:40 PM on April 17, 2025, fully one week after you said you had stepped away from your role there, yet there you are, still listed prominently among the GOP leadership.
What gives? You, legally, really can’t have it both ways. And you, as Nevada’s top law enforcement official, should know that better than anyone. You know what the Hatch Act is, and you know how seriously it is taken. Hedging your bets? One foot in each organization, just in case? Just in case the right people pay attention to what’s been detailed on this website and decide that you’re too much of a partisan hot potato?
You’re not fooling anyone, Sigal, especially the upper echelon politicos in your own party. And you know that. I guess you’re just choosing to ignore it? What’s really going on, Sigal? Is it your dismissive, arrogant personality rising to the surface? Inquiring minds want to know.
