OPINION — By SA Barket
Sigal Chattah, in my opinion, is a poser.
She wants you to think she’s a big mover & shaker on the Republican scene. She goes to all the important gatherings — like the 2022 Republican election watch party at T-Bones Chophouse in Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa when she was a candidate for Nevada Attorney General (which she lost), and when Joe Lombardo was candidate for Governor (which he won). Chattah posts photos of herself with bigwig state and national figures to make you think she’s a key insider, like the photo you see above of her and new FBI Director Kash Patel, which she posted to X. Now, however, comes the news that Sigal Chattah has been nominated to be the US Attorney for the State of Nevada. The Nevada State Republican Party made the announcement on Friday, March 28, 2025. The Trump Administration at this writing has not made any announcement.
Nevada State Democratic Party Chair Daniele Monroe-Moreno released the following statement on the appointment of Sigal Chattah as Nevada’s interim United States Attorney:
Sigal Chattah also is currently Nevada’s Republican National Committee Chairwoman. Good for her. We checked with some Nevada RNC folks we know, and they had one word for Chattah: “Weird.” (Don’t mean to steal your word, Tim Walz, which you made popular in your failed campaign to become the next Vice President in the 2024 election while referring to current VP J.D. Vance — but that was the exact word used to describe Chattah.)
